Megan Kunze

Megan Kunze, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA  (University of Oregon, 2020).  Dr. Kunze is a Postdoctoral Scholar at CBIRT and instructor in Special Education/Early Intervention with interests in early and equitable interventions for young children with and at-risk for developmental delays/disabilities while supporting and empowering families. Dr. Kunze’s research focuses on parent-mediated naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions, early and accessible autism diagnosis and intervention, and professional preparation to best support young children and their caregivers. Dr. Kunze is currently funded as a Switzer Research Fellow under a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR grant number 90SFGE0033-01-00) for her project Promoting Reciprocal Relationships with Flexibility, Coaching, and Teaching: The PRRFCT Match. This intervention package tests the scalability and efficacy of a training model for early intervention providers to coach parents to increase flexible child behaviors and positive relationships.
