Rehabilitation after TBI for Latinx Children and Adolescents: The Role of Schools and Other Support Systems | Nathalia Jimenez, MD, MPH

Webinar presented by Center on Brain Injury Research and Training featuring Nathalia Jimenez, MD, MPH on TBI and the Latinx Community. Occurs May 3rd at 3 PM, Pacific Standard Time, for 1 hour.

Learning objectives:

  1. To identify barriers to access and adhere to long-term outpatient rehabilitation after TBI for Latinx children and adolescents.
  2. To describe facilitators to access and maintain rehabilitation care in the community, for Latinx Children and adolescents with TBI, placing emphasis in culturally and linguistically responsive programs.
  3. To highlight the importance of school programs to support community reintegration and outpatient-rehabilitation for Latinx children and adolescents after a TBI.
